%X This article uses methods of interview，literature and logical analysis to analyze and discuss Professor
( from Tsinghua University) Qiao Fengjie’idea about“engagement in scholarship”and the related problems
in academic research．Conclusion: a scholar should always keep the pursuit of excellence， maintain personhood
before doing things， seek for truth， enrich knowledge and acquire precise logical thinking ability， he ( she)
should sum up experience， find “problems ” constantly， do experiments and demonstration， repeat the
experiments，prove arguments，find answers and promote the academic accomplishment．
