Experiment of college physics is the basic course for students of science and engineering to cultivate their comprehensive ability. A laser absorption spectroscopy experimental setup using a mid-infrared quantum cascade laser is employed to detect trace carbon monoxide (NO₂). The experiment can deepen students' understanding of physical concepts and improve their innovation consciousness.
